It seems like it has been a crazy week but now that I sit down to write about it nothing comes to mind...maybe that's a blessing :) I really can't think of a single thing to blog about. The girls and I have been having a blast hanging out while Running Man is at school, and are so anxious for the weather to turn nice again. It's not freezing, but not warm enough to take the girls outside for very long.
Oh yeah. I remembered something! We were watching a show about Einstein the other night and there were several interviews with some so called experts on his life. At one point they were talking about his wife, and how she had great plans of being I think a physicist, but that changed when she had their first baby. The commentator made some statement about how she "settled" and to be a mom. That really struck me. There hasn't been one single moment since my children were born that I thought that I had just "settled." Being a mom is the most challenging, and the most rewarding job I could ever think of having. It made me so sad to think that this kind of attitude still exists. I'm not saying that I don't have my days that I long for a small little break, or to just be able to go to the bathroom in peace...But in all seriousness I wouldn't trade this job for anything in the world. And to show you some of the amazing perks, here are so adorable pics of the girls. I asked Banana the other day if I was her best friend and she looked at me and replied in all seriousness that I wasn't. Em was. It doesn't get better than that!

That IS adorable!
I love little Em's hair- that is the best!
Being a mom is a sacrifice, but I can't think of any sahm that doesn't enjoy it every day. Thank you for writing this. It is always nice to have some positive reinforcement.
I think that those who believe we Mothers have "settled" for something less then the best do not understand what a mother is. I know I have choosen the better career choice and as for those day when you need a little me time....well everyone does and when you get to that point be smart enough to take a moment for yourself. Sure love you.
It's the hardest and the best job in the world!!
I love your girls!! they are both stinkin cute!!
I miss you guys! What you said is so true. That has always been the job that i wanted, to be a mom. That is our true calling in life.
How cute is that. I must agree that being a mom is amazing and extremely hard at certian times. Its funny how the littlest things are such an acomplishment when kids are growing up. Thanks!
You know youve done the best job in the world when your girls say they ae best friends! That is so cute! And you put it so beautifully that this is the only job that means everyting in the end.
That is so awesome about your girls! One time we were in the car and Chach had a treat and she said she wanted to save part of it for her best friend in the whole world, who she loved more than anyone else. I thought she was talking about Jordan Snarr. "Nope," she said. "I am saving this for Sessa. She is my sister and my best friend!!!".
Love it! You hope they will always be so close!
Motherhood... one of the hardest jobs in the world, but you will have the perks forever! Every time you see them grow and laugh and run, you are grateful to be a mom!!!
(and someday, you will have the bathroom back!)
