My amazing mom
I don't know how my mom raised 7 children, or how my MIL raised 6, and kept their sanity. I feel like I am barely keeping my head above water, and my mom has even been here for a week to help. Everyone assures me that I will adjust and life will keep moving forward. Let's all pray that's true! Really though, I have two totally incredible little girls that are such a blessing in my life. Emma is such a good baby, and Hannah is an amazing big sister. She absolutely loves taking care of Emma, and seeing that all of her needs are met. She adores her, and I can't believe how quickly she has adjusted to this huge change in her life. I also have an amazing hubby who, despite his crazy schedule, has stepped up to the plate and is taking such good care of all of us. He never complains about taking turns on the night shift, or the endless amount of diapers I ask him to change. And, he has taken extra care to make sure Hannah still feels loved and has given her that extra attention she needs now. My mom has also been amazing. It was horrible to have her leave today, and I we miss her tons already. She went so far beyond what she needed to do.
So...we are slowly adjusting to our new life, and loving (almost) every minute of it!

I cried when my mom left me after JT was born. I can only imagine how hysterical I'll be when she leaves me with two! LOL You'll be fabulous. I say that nuttier people than me have raised more than one child and survived, so I think I can do it. I'm still totally freaked out by the concept.
Hannah is such a cute big sister! You are lucky you have Russell to help you. Can you imagine if you had to do it alone?
You have such a cute family! The girls are adorable! Call me if you need anything, if you want to get out, or have company, or even pawn off Hannah for alittle while - I would be glad to take her. Little K always could use a friend!
Congratulations on your new baby! (This is Natalie Bates...Olsen. I found a link to your blog from Sandra's) You'll do fine with two kids. It is a big adjustment to have a new baby, but look how cute they are! Your girls are adorable, and I never knew babies came in girl!

I think about your mom raising 7 kids all the time too...I'm not even half way there and I can barely handle it at times. You're such a cute mom and your girls are adorable, I'm jealous!
glad your mom could come out and help. Are you anywhere near all the flooding and tornados? Keep safe.
