{LOVE} Month

February is always a crazy busy month at our house. Running Man and I celebrated our 8th anniversary, Banana turned SIX and we partied it up for her birthday and Valentines Day!
Running Man and I spent a nice low key anniversary at home. It's hard to plan anything spectacular when you have a nursing/needy baby at home. :) We did escape for a quick dinner a few days later thanks to my awesome friend Bailey coming to the rescue!
The girls got to attend the Daddy-Daughter Ball with Running Man. He took just Banana last year because Em wasn't old enough and Em counted down the days until she was old enough to go this year! I think it is such a great tradition and we plan on keeping it going!

We kept the festivities going with Banana's birthday. She wanted a love themed party and it worked out perfectly because our house was already overflowing with all things Valentines Day.
The spread. We weren't lacking for sweets which was just fine with me!

We were going to play Valentines Bingo, but once I realized there were going to be SIXTEEN kids at the party we changed our minds and took them outside for a way more exciting game! You can't just invite a few people from school, the rule is you have to invite everyone, so that's what we did. I was banking on only a few showing up...um, I was wrong. They were all so well behaved and didn't seem to mind that they were all crammed into our apartment!

Banana and her BFF/cousin Blayr Bear. She ditched us right after this for Disneyland. :(
Keeping the tradition alive...Bday dinner at Red Robin with Aunt Kenna!

We made these Valentines for the girls to pass out at school. I'm sure you've seen them! Punch a few holes, add some lettering and a sucker. Easiest. Valentines. Ever.

To add more to our already busy month, Banana won Region reflections so we got to sit through a very long awards ceremony. She was the very last name to be called up. :)

Not to be forgotten, this little Boy has mastered the pouty lip. Seriously, does it get any cuter? I am still smitten with this little man!
And to prove to you that I am still alive, here is a rare shot of me. And it was taken only because Banana was making me feel guilty that I'm never in any pictures with her.
We love February and we are sad to see it go, but are so looking forward to SPRING!

Randomness

I love how life seems to slow down just a bit after the Holidays. Banana has been off track since before Christmas and I have LOVED having her hanging out at home with us. I don't know if I will ever be one of those parents who can't wait for their kids to go back to school. Banana on the other hand coudn't wait to get back. She loves school...She must get that from her father.
The girls are always begging to help clean, cook and hold their brother. So we spent a lot of time this break cleaning, cooking and holding baby L. :)
And yes I am aware of the fact that Em is eating a donut while I'm making dinner. With that girl I have to choose my battles very carefully! And the only way I can get dinner done is if Baby L can see me. At all times. It's a good thing he's so cute or that would get old pretty quickly.
I found a super easy recipe for finger paints. Not nearly as messy as the real stuff, so I was able to control my OCD and just let them enjoy themselves!

Em started Sunbeams at the first of the year so we decided to get her a Book of Mormon. I have never seen her so excited about a present before. She has not put it down. She carries it wherever we go and even sleeps with it. They are lovingly referred to as her Scriptures of Mormon! We can't get mad at her for staying up way past her bedtime when we walk in her room and see this...Love that sweet girl.

And this my friends is what happens when I leave him alone with his sisters.

Christmas And Such

I can't believe that Christmas has already come and gone. December is always such a crazy, busy month. I figured the best way to show you what we've been up to is to just narrate a few of the bazillion pictures we took.

Eli the Elf made her first appearance at our house. She was very loved and quite a few tears were shed when she went back to the North Pole for the year. I think that she might make a few surprise appearances through this next year, just to check on the kiddos.

This little boy keeps growing and has become such a joy to have in our home! The first couple months of his life were pretty rough. Full of a lot of crying and a lot of lost sleep. He was pretty colicky so it made for some fun times. :) I am happy to say that we have survived and we love having him around! He is smiling like crazy and loves to talk and giggle at you. I can't get enough!
The girls had their Christmas Dance Recital. It was Em's first recital ever and both of the girls were awesome! They are such cute little performers. It was fun to see Banana perform her whole dance without any help and to see the talent she has! Em was just adorable!
We also rocked it out at the Voice Male concert! The girls loved singing along and Baby L was such a trooper and didn't make a peep throughout the whole concert.
We saw Santa and the girls proceeded to add a few things to their list.
Banana somehow convinced me to throw a Christmas party. She invited her entire Kinder class plus a few extra. I am so happy that only 13 showed up! We held it at Running Man's office because there was no way I could handle that many little kids running around our apartment. The second pic is of Banana and her bestie/boyfriend Brody. Apparently they hold hands when they walk to the computer lab and gym at school...it's too cute to get too concerned about it yet!
We had a Christmas Eve pajama party with some of our cousins!
And Christmas morning went way too quickly.
We love this time of year and are sad that it is over, but I am excited to get back to a normal routine!

Oh, I Have A Blog?

Do you ever feel like you are behind on life...I'm pretty sure I am.
So here's what we've been up to.

Little man was blessed last month. We are so grateful for everyone who came to be with us!

Four generations of Terry boys.

We celebrated Halloween Disney style. I knew that I would not have the ambition or time to make costumes this year so thanks to Grandma Terry and Rewards points we went the easy route! I did make Banana's wig...
and I am just grateful that it held together. I may or may not have hot glued some of the pieces while it was attached to her head...

We are going a little crazy because Little Man cries. A lot. Like when he's left alone. Or being held. Or eating. Or when he's supposed to be sleeping.
I'm tired.

Despite all of the crying I am still head over heels in love with the boy. He has the perfect little pouty lip when he cries. And the biggest smiles when he is happy, and the cutest double chin I've ever seen. His sisters love on him constantly, and he is definitely worth what it took to get him here.
