That is what Banana said to me before her race on Saturday. (All you CARS fans will get the reference). She ran 1/4 mile race all by herself! It was pretty exciting, and I was a pretty proud mama. To give her an extra boost of confidence she asked me if she could wear her Lightning McQueen underwear for the race, so they could help her go super fast. How adorable is that?! We were nervous when we got to the race because it was pretty rainy and we weren't sure if she would go through with it. But the rain died down about twenty minutes before the race and she was good to go. They had some "dancers" there to warm the kids up...(and by dancers I mean two teenage girls jumping around to kids music.) Pretty sweet. In spite of the cheesiness Banana loved it and took her stretching VERY seriously.
Em was a good sport as usual, and cheered her big sis on!

Running! She was one of the youngest ones out there, and held her own. She ran the whole way and loved every minute of it.
Sweet reward! The kids got pizza and chocolate milk to celebrate crossing the finish line!
