So there really isn't anything too exciting going on around here...I just wanted to show you some cute pics. Banana has suddenly become totally obsessed with drawing on her "noodle" (magna doodle). I stopped paying attention a while ago at what she was drawing (mom of the year, I know), then one day I was out shopping and Hubby text me a pic of something she had drawn. I was shocked. Here is something similar to what she had drawn...

He told me that he was in the kitchen and she started yelling for him to come and look at her drawing and he found this awesome drawing. She had no help whatsoever. She knows exactly where to put all of the body parts and granted, they aren't always proportional, but she does it w/o help. It's fun cuz she usually adds her own flair to each one. Sometimes her little person has freckles, sometimes silly teeth and a tongue, or crazy hair and glasses. Crazy. It's sad to say that my toddler's artistic skills already surprass mine. She totally gets it from her dad. I couldn't be a prouder mama!
Anyhow...We had to get some sort of family pic to my MIL for a project she was working on. Sad as it is, the last time we were all in a picture together was at Em's blessing. (My fault...not a fan of being in pictures). So I sucked it up, and we took these. It was quite an ordeal. Not so easy to get two kids to cooperate, look at the camera at the same time, smile, and do it all within the time the timer on the camera allows you. But, we ended up with at least one decent one. At least the kids always look cute.
On a parting note, I bought my ticket to see Twilight! Me and my other insane friends are going to the midnight release of it...Yep, we'll be there with all of the crazed 14 year old super fans. And not ashamed at all. I am a little worried about keeping myself awake, but that's what caffeine and popcorn are for right? The next day my FIL is coming, so hopefully my children nap that day so I can get some rest. Wish me luck!

Cute family picture!!! And Hannahs picture is very cute and developmentally appropriate. (the teacher talking in me)
Awww...everyone looks so cute! Don't feel bad about not knowing she could draw. It happens.
A few months ago, I went outside and saw that there were stick-figure-jedis having a light saber fight all over the driveway in orange crayon. I punished my two older kids for drawing on the sidewalk...they are 7 and 5...they know better. Then my 3 year old confessed to the crime. Who knew he could draw? I laughed and said "Good job on the drawing! They look so great!" My two older guys didn't think that was fair! So, I'm with you on the "Mother of the Year" award!
CUTE family Pict. I love Hannah's face in the last one!
Don't be ashamed of your Twilight movie ticket....I think most of us will all be doing the same thing!
I love her drawing! She looks so proud! I love the things kids come up with.
Your family Pics are adorable and I completely understand the difficulty in getting one that looks any where close to decent. Yours are Great!
You'll have to tell me if the movie is any good... My sleep is WAY more important, so I will not be attending anything that starts at midnight! :)
I love that last picture of your little banana. She has the cutest personality!
I decided to go to a matinee on Sunday of Twilight hoping that all of the crazy teenagers will be at church...bad of me, I know. But it will be a wholesome family activity.....that's what I am telling myself anyway. Except my hubby keeps trying to give away his ticket!!
Awesome what a talented little girl you have there. I love the little family pictures to. hannahs face is priceless in the last one.
I am very impressed by her drawing skills. Don't feel bad, we're all the "mom of the year" most of the time. My sister text me the other day asking if I was going to the midnight showing, so I guess she is going too. I hope you guys have a TON of fun, and don't pay too much for staying up so late, or drinking a ton of caffiene. :)
Have fun! That's in December right?
Cute pictures! I think the bottom one is perfect! I have four kids.....trying to get them all look at the camera and smile is rediculous. Hence why there isn't a family photo on my blog. I really need to get one after the baby is born. I got my ticket to twilight also!!! We are going to the 9:30 showing. I'm just hoping I don't go into labor before then he he.
Cute pics! And she is a little artist huh!?! Very cute family pics and I am so freaking excited to see Twilight, but I have to wait because I dont want to deal with the 14 year old fans. But I concider myself a superfan just 24 instead!! But man I cant wait!!!
I love the family pictures! Cute, cute. My family made a spoof trailer for Twilight. It's hilarious. I haven't read the books but I have heard quite a bit about them. Have fun at the midnight showing!
she actually has drawing skills that are above what most kids do at her age. and that she can do them on a noodle is also pretty impressive with all the hand/eye coordination involved. that's pretty cool!
