Three Down, Seven To Go

There is a celebration at our house today...Russ has finished his third tri here at Palmer. We are so excited! He aced all of his classes, and now we can party! He is ready to move on to 4th tri because it now gets a lot more hands on and interactive. The last year has just been a lot of book work...not his favorite. I am so proud of him, and of how well he has done out here. I also can't believe that he has now finished his first year of chiropractic school. I think that's a pretty big accomplishment. We now get to enjoy a week and a half of having him hang out with us. Hannah and I are thrilled. She has become such a daddy's girl. I love it. You can tell the days that he is never around because she turns into zombie Hannah. I'm pretty sure she understands what it means when I tell her why dad isn't at home to play with her, but that doesn't stop her from asking me about every three minutes.

Speaking of Hannah, did I mention how much she is growing up every day. Russ and I are amazed at how smart she is getting, and her huge personality. Her new favorite thing to do is to say "watch this" then she proceeds to perform whatever new trick she has thought up. My favorite is how she closes her eyes and sways her head Stevie Wonder style, to sing along with whatever song we have playing at the time. Ok, one last thing that makes my heart melt...When I go into her bedroom to get her out of bed in the morning the conversation usually goes like this
Mom: Good morning Hannah
Hannah: I woke up!
Mom: I'm so glad
Hannah: Mom, I missed you too much!
Toys, I missed you too much!
Ok, I want some leche.

I can never be mad at how early she wakes up when I am greeted each morning like this. I love my two year old!
On last thing. I have to give credit to my wonderful SIL Kyla for designing my cute blog page. She does an amazing job, and I am so excited about it. Thank you so much Kyla!
Hannah loves to mix, mix, mix

She loves to lick the beaters, which for some reason she calls candy canes...

Seriously, your blog is soo cute. I loved the part at the end about Hannah waking up early. I feel the same way, when Parker decides to wake up, way earlier than he should. I hear him talking, go into his bedroom a little annoyed. Then I see him jump up and down with a smile from ear to ear. I my heart melts. The conversation that you have with Hannah in the mornings is so cute, though. "I want some leche." so cute!!

Hannah and JT must be related, but I'm not so kind when he gets up early, nor is he quite as happy as Hannah! LOL
